Prestonsburg Fire Department’s Santa Run 2023
The Prestonsburg Fire Dept will be doing its annual Santa Run on Saturday December 23, 2023
Santa will be leaving the station at 2:00 PM.
He will be starting on the main roadway only in the areas of Corn Fork, Abbott Road to Bonanza, Big Branch of Abbott, Right Fork of Bullcreek, Town Branch, Spurlock, Old 114 coming into East Prestonsburg. Then he will travel to Briarwood, Lancer, Goble Roberts, Black Bottom, West Prestonsburg, University Drive, Green Acres, Cliffside, Big Branch of Abbott, Stonecrest, Lake Road, Haywood Lane, Hillcrest, North Highland, South Highland Ave., North Central Ave., Mays Branch, North Arnold with cross streets, Riverside Dr., South Arnold Ave., Front Street, South Central with Cross Streets, Highland Terrace, Trimble Branch, West Minister and Marshall St.
Expect his arrival between the hours of 2:00PM to 10:00 PM.
We will try and update the page as to where Santa is at to enable everyone to enjoy his visit.

Christmas Parade 2023
Join us for our annual Christmas parade in downtown Prestonsburg! Lineup will start at 6:00pm at the old food stamp office. There will be a tree lighting ceremony immediately following the parade and then hot chocolate at Destination Community Church.
BLUEGRASS Mountain Cup 2023:
One of our favorite weekends of the year is here! The Bluegrass Mountain Cup is officially underway. Prestonsburg and Sugarcamp Mountain Trails are thrilled to welcome nearly 200 of the best riders to the Mountain Biking Capital of Kentucky. Please not that Sugarcamp will have very heavy and fast-paced traffic through Sunday. If you are hiking, please check with stationed volunteers for available trails open to explore. We also suggest avoiding earbuds as a safety precaution to keep your senses alert.

The Jenny Wiley Festival is officially underway in Prestonsburg! Don’t miss incredible free live music (including Saturday’s headliner, Joe Nichols), delicious food, fun carnival rides, homemade crafts, and memories to be made with the entire family.
